The sleek, CORDOVA-brand BLACK LABEL™  gloves are constructed of 13-gauge, high-performance polyethylene (HPPE) yarn interwoven with steel fibers for added strength and durability. The resulting high-performance shells are cut- and abrasion-resistant with excellent tactile sensitivity. This BLACK LABEL™ glove offers A4 cut level protection and features a black, polymer polyurethane (PPU) palm coating. PPU is comprised of a unique blend of Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) and water-based polyurethane. It is silicone-free and manufactured without solvents, featuring a porous texture that displaces liquids and oils for excellent grip. It creates no bleed-through. The coating is on the outside of the shell only. It provides good abrasion resistance and is safe for food contact.

What is PPU?

PPU is a polymer polyurethane palm coating which is a unique blend of TPU thermoplastic polyurethane and water-based polyurethane. It is manufactured without solvents (DMF). Its porous texture diplaces liquids and oils for excellent grip. There is no bleed through. The coating is on the outside of the shell only. It offers good abrasion resistance and is safe for food contact.
